    POWAY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Second Annual San Diego Photo Expo is back at the Del Mar Fairground’s Activity Center Saturday and Sunday, November 18th and 19th, with the world’s most renowned photographers sharing trade secrets of their art—free! Douglas Kirkland, will talk about his love affair with photography over the past 50 years and the amazing opportunities he had photographing the world’s most beautiful people like Angelina Jolie, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, and Audrey Hepburn. Non-stop seminars from Douglas Kirkland and more along with screaming deals on the latest photography gear make this year’s San Diego Photo Expo the biggest and best yet.

    Kirkland will be presenting his experience of the past 50 years, which includes photographing some of the world’s most beautiful people. Kirkland wrote and photographed for Life magazine during the 1960’s and 70’s and has worked on dozens of movie sets, including “Titanic”, “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,” and “2001 A Space Odyssey.” Along with capturing the beauty of Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie, Audrey Hepburn, and Judy Garland, Kirkland has also worked with stars such as Nicole Kidman, Dustin Hoffman, Robert Redford, Sean Connery, Robert De Niro and more.

    Kirkland is a member of Canon’s Explorers of Light, a group of 60 of the world’s most influential photographers. Four other Explorers of Light, Monte Zucker, Eddie Tapp, Paul Bowen and Hanson Fong will be in attendance at the San Diego Photo Expo. Zucker, who was honored as the Portrait Photographer of the Year by the United Nations in 2002, brings excitement to the crowd with his energy and passion for the art of photography. He will share his signature style and explain how to capture the moment in your photographs. Zucker will also team up with Tapp, the premier Photoshop expert, to explain the complete workflow of photography, from capture to final output.

    Two world renowned photographers from Nikon will also be speaking at the San Diego Photo Expo. Vincent Versace and Scott Frier will share their image capturing secrets that will help you take better photos. Vincent Versace is renowned for capturing everything from Hollywood’s elite stars to nature’s beauty, while Scott Frier will share his expertise in nature and wildlife photography.

    The San Diego Photo Expo will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday. Admission to the Expo is free and includes seminars from the world’s best photographers. Parking at the Del Mar Fairgrounds is $8.00. There will be food and drinks for sale onsite.
