    London, March, 2007 – Eastman Kodak Company today announced the latest additions to its award-winning line of consumer digital cameras, including the KODAK EASYSHARE Z712 IS and Z885 Zoom Digital Cameras, with high ISO and image stabilisation for taking great action pictures in any lighting conditions.

    The KODAK EASYSHARE Z712 IS Zoom Digital Camera combines an impressive 12X optical zoom lens (36-432 mm equivalent SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON) with optical image stabilisation, delivering superior performance to aspiring photographers. The 7.1 megapixel camera boasts best-in-class click-to-capture performance (0.26 sec.) with superb picture quality at an affordable price, making it a solid alternative to digital SLRs. Available in April, the KODAK EASYSHARE Z712 IS Zoom Digital Camera will retail for £229 RRP.

    The KODAK EASYSHARE Z885 Zoom Digital Camera boasts a 5X optical zoom lens and 8.1 megapixel resolution. When combined with high ISO (up to 8000), it tackles low-light environments and action situations with ease. The fast AF 5X optical zoom lens (36-180 mm equivalent) combined with 10 automatic smart scene modes makes it easy to get stunning shots every time. Available in May, the KODAK EASYSHARE Z885 Zoom Digital Camera will retail for £149.

    Two additional digital cameras are announced today, including the KODAK EASYSHARE C613 Zoom Digital Camera with 6.2 megapixel resolution and 3X optical zoom lens in a compact and stylish body; and the KODAK EASYSHARE C763 Zoom Digital Camera with 7 megapixel resolution and 3X optical zoom at a truly affordable price point. Available in May, the KODAK EASYSHARE C613 Zoom Digital Camera will retail for £69.99. The KODAK EASYSHARE C763 will be available in April.

    New Printer Dock Prints Lab-Quality Pictures in 60 Seconds

    In a recent J. D. Powers and Associates’ 2006 Photo Printer Customer Satisfaction Study, the KODAK Photo Printer performed particularly well among printer brands. The new KODAK EASYSHARE G610 Printer Dock is the latest addition to Kodak’s family of highly popular photo printers. Consumers simply dock their digital camera on the printer and high quality, real KODAK Pictures are printed in just 60 seconds. The prints are waterproof and stain-resistant; and with KODAK XTRALIFE™ Lamination, they will last a lifetime under typical home display conditions. Available in May, the KODAK EASYSHARE G610 Printer Dock will retail for £129.99.

    New KODAK Pre-Charged Rechargeable Ni-MH Digital Camera Batteries Stay Charged up to 4X Longer than Ordinary Ni-MH Batteries

    Kodak announced today a new series of Ni-MH pre-charged batteries (2100mAh, 1.2Volts) in the popular AA format, supporting all AA format digital cameras on the market. The new KODAK Digital Camera Batteries (available in AA 4-pack and AAA 2-pack) are ready to use out of the package and will stay charged up to four times longer than ordinary Ni-MH batteries. The batteries can take up to 300 digital pictures per charge with the ability to recharge up to 1,000 times, which allows up to 300,000 digital pictures over the life of the batteries. The KODAK 1-Hour Battery Charger and Value Ni-MH Charger both include a set of four pre-charged batteries and is projected to retail for £29.99 and £15.99 respectively. The KODAK AA Battery 4-Pack is projected to retail for £11.99 and the KODAK AAA Battery 2-Pack for £6.49 (RRP). The new batteries and chargers will be available in July.
